On Sunday, it was reported that University of Texas defensive lineman and projected first round pick T’Vondre Sweat was arrested and charged with a DWI in Austin, Texas.
The 366-pound Sweat, who went viral due to his impressive 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, is reportedly still “set to visit” two NFL teams after posting $3,000 bond.

Sweat reportedly flew into Tennessee on Monday to visit with the Tennessee Titans and will visit with the Seattle Seahawks later in the week, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
As reported by KXAN News in Austin, records from Travis County Jail indicate that the 22-year-old was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
The Austin Police Department detained Sweat who was booked into the jail at 2:12 p.m. on Sunday.
Sweat, who was honored as the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, won the 2023 Outland Trophy for being the best interior lineman in college football.
His play helped the Longhorns to victory in the Big 12 championship and secured a spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals which resulted in a loss to the University of Washington.
