After a recent setback in his New York civil fraud trial, former President Donald Trump wasted no time in debuting his latest venture: a line of sneakers.
Branded as “Trump Sneakers,” the unveiling took place at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia. Displaying a pair of golden high-tops named the “NEVER SURRENDER HIGH-TOP SNEAKER” priced at $399 on a new website, Trump expressed confidence in its success, all while inching closer to a potential bid for the 2024 Republican nomination.
Within hours, the $399 sneakers were marked as sold out online, with 1,000 pairs initially available. Additionally, Trump offers two other sneaker designs featuring “T” and “45” on the sides, priced at $199 each, along with cologne and perfume at $99 each.

Notably, the products are identified as trademarks of CIC Ventures LLC, with a disclaimer clarifying they are not directly associated with Trump or his organizations. This move comes amidst legal woes, including a recent order to pay nearly $355 million in his New York civil fraud trial and an upcoming criminal trial set for March 25 regarding a hush money case.
While Trump’s appearance at Sneaker Con drew attention, it also invited criticism from Biden campaign spokesperson Michael Tyler, who likened it to selling “bootleg Off-Whites,” referencing popular sneaker brands.
Despite the legal challenges, Trump is pressing on with his political ambitions, scheduling a visit to Michigan, strategically timed ahead of the state’s Republican primary. As he navigates legal battles and political maneuvers, the former president remains a prominent figure, determined to maintain his influence within the GOP and beyond.
