Tristan Thompson opened up in the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” discussing his concerns about how his past actions might lead his children to feel embarrassed about having him as their father.
He shared his worries with Khloé Kardashian, the mother of two of his kids, acknowledging that his daughter True and son Prince are becoming more aware of things as they go to school and interact with classmates. Thompson expressed a strong desire to prevent them from ever feeling ashamed of him.
Thompson’s fear seems rooted in his history of infidelity and the fact that he has four children with three different women.

However, Kardashian offered some insightful advice to her ex-partner. She reminded him that he is not defined by his past mistakes and encouraged him to hold himself in a way that he can be proud of moving forward. She emphasized the importance of building a legacy that he and his children can be proud of, one that transcends the public’s exposure to his past actions.
“Just remember, you’re not your past. Your past doesn’t define you. Moving forward, hold yourself in a way that you will be proud of. Or if your kids read something about you, you’re going to be proud of that. Your legacy, what you want to leave behind, is way greater than what the world has been exposed to,” she told Thompson via Page Six.
While Kardashian and Thompson are no longer together, they did welcome a second child via surrogate the previous year.
This conversation followed a surprising revelation from Thompson a week earlier when he unexpectedly expressed his deep care for Kardashian, reflecting on his past wrongdoings and acknowledging her significance in his life.
Despite the revelation, Kardashian appeared stunned and didn’t immediately respond when asked about her feelings regarding Thompson’s statement.
Thompson and Kardashian’s relationship dates back to 2016 but faced significant challenges after Thompson was caught cheating on Kardashian with multiple women during her pregnancy. Despite the tumultuous moments, the two have maintained a close relationship and successfully co-parent their two children.
Earlier in the year, Thompson and his brother even stayed with Kardashian following damage to their mother’s house.
