Trevor Lawrence and his stunning wife Marissa joyfully announced they are expecting a baby girl during a lavish gender reveal party this past weekend.
Lawrence, who recently inked a massive five-year, $275 million contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars, is set to become a father for the first time after Marissa revealed her pregnancy last month.
The couple’s love story began in 2016 when they first met. They got engaged in 2020 and tied the knot a year later. Now, three years into their marriage, they are preparing to welcome their first child together.
Just under two weeks after the pregnancy announcement, Trevor and Marissa, both 24, hosted a gender reveal party on Saturday to reveal whether they were expecting a boy or a girl. Surrounded by an array of pink and blue balloons, the couple watched as pink fireworks and smoke filled the sky, announcing they are having a baby girl.

To celebrate, Lawrence and his wife poured pink Hershey’s syrup onto a giant ice cream, symbolizing their joy and anticipation for their daughter’s arrival. They shared this memorable moment on Instagram with the caption: “Baby girl – Mom & Dad can’t wait to meet you!!”
At the end of June, the couple first shared their pregnancy news with a series of photos on Instagram, proudly displaying baby scan images. The caption read: “A little Lawrence on the way,” accompanied by a white heart emoji. The carousel of photos showed the soon-to-be parents holding the ultrasound, posing with their dogs, and a Polaroid of Trevor standing behind Marissa with his hands on her baby bump.
The Jacksonville Jaguars also joined in the celebration, sharing one of the pictures to honor their quarterback’s personal milestone.
Trevor and Marissa’s journey began in high school in 2016. They started dating, got engaged four years later at Memorial Stadium at Clemson University, and married in 2021, the same year Trevor was drafted into the NFL.
Lawrence’s illustrious college career at Clemson included a National Title win over Alabama in 2018. He was the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, joining the Jacksonville Jaguars. Under his leadership, the Jaguars made a playoff appearance in 2022, defeating the LA Chargers in the Wild Card before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional playoffs.
Last month, Lawrence secured his future with the Jaguars by signing a five-year extension worth a reported $275 million, with $200 million guaranteed. Entering the final year of his contract, Lawrence didn’t entertain the possibility of leaving Jacksonville.
“The direction we’re heading on the football side, that makes it obviously a no-brainer for us,” he said after signing his new deal. “We’re headed in the right direction. I want to be the quarterback here. I want to bring a championship to Jacksonville. That’s my goal. I really know that we can accomplish that.”
As they look forward to welcoming their baby girl, Trevor and Marissa are also focused on their future in Jacksonville, both on and off the field.
