A high-profile spat has ignited between Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and renowned rapper Cam’Ron, with the latter taking shots at Diggs and his partner, Joie Chavis, who is currently expecting Diggs’ child.
Chavis has previously been involved with rappers Future and Bow Wow, which prompted Cam’Ron to question Diggs’ choice in his It Is What It Is podcast, referring to Chavis as someone’s “leftovers.”
In response, Diggs took to Twitter to fire back at the rapper.
This situation bears resemblance to another controversial pairing involving Houston Rockets star Jalen Green, 21, and Instagram model Draya Michelle, 39. Former rapper turned podcaster Joe Budden labeled Michelle as a “predator” for her relationship with Green, who is now expecting a child with her.

However, similar to Michelle, Chavis vehemently defends herself against such criticisms.
In an interview with Page Six, Chavis addressed the accusations of being a “gold digger” or using pregnancies to secure financial gain, asserting her independence and work ethic since the age of 15.
She emphasized that she is more than just her relationships, and her true character is evident to those who know her well.
Diggs and Chavis have been in a relationship since 2022, navigating through the public scrutiny and standing by each other amidst the controversy.
