Kansas City Chiefs star Justin Reid has praised Taylor Swift as the team’s newest and most famous fan, expressing admiration for her personality and artistry. Swift, who publicly revealed her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has attended 12 Kansas City games, with the 13th set to take place at the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.
Despite some fans expressing weariness about Swift drawing attention away from the on-field action, Chiefs safety Reid welcomes her to Chiefs Kingdom. Speaking to TMZ Sports, he described Swift as “very, very sweet” and defended her against criticism, emphasizing her awesomeness as a person and artist.
“She’s very, very sweet,” Reid told us … “I don’t understand why she’s getting all the hate. She’s an awesome person, awesome artist all around.”

When asked about the possibility of Swift joining the Chiefs for Super Bowl celebrations, Reid acknowledged that she might be busy celebrating with Kelce. Earlier in the week on ‘Inside the NFL,’ Reid expressed his happiness for Kelce and Swift, describing their relationship as unique and special. He emphasized respecting their privacy and allowing them to enjoy their moment together.
As the Chiefs prepare for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Swift faces a tight schedule. After performing four shows on her Eras Tour in Tokyo, Japan, from Wednesday to Saturday, she is expected to fly back to Nevada to support Kelce in the game. However, her time for celebrations might be limited, as she is scheduled to start her tour in Australia, beginning in Melbourne, from February 16.
