As one of the most globally renowned figures, Swift is in a relationship with Ed’s son, Travis Kelce, yet Ed struggled to recall her name in the heat of the moment.
Ed candidly shared his mental slip during an interview with Cleveland radio station ‘92.3 The Fan.’ He recounted the scenario, explaining, “When Travis has a lot of friends coming into town for the game, everyone gathers at his house, even if he’s not present.” Swift, accompanied by a security detail, entered the scene, leaving Ed puzzled. He admitted to his girlfriend, “Oh my god, I know this kid, but I don’t know what her name is,” displaying a momentary lapse of recognition. His girlfriend promptly clarified, “You don’t know her? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot.”
Following this amusing introduction, Ed quickly familiarized himself with Swift, and they have been publicly seen together at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift has since become a regular presence in the Kelce family, attending Travis’ games and holiday gatherings.
