As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s budding relationship continues to make waves, Kayla Nicole, Travis’ ex-girlfriend, shared her feelings in a new TikTok video on October 18.
While her former partner’s romance with Taylor Swift unfolds, Kayla Nicole danced to the tune “Wassup Gway” by FamousSally and YB while boarding a small jet. Despite the mention of her problems, she appeared thrilled to be embarking on her journey.
In the video, Kayla included the text: “Therapist: ‘You can’t keep flying away from your problems.'” As she grooved to the music, she was dressed in comfortable black attire, including a long-sleeve crop top, leggings, and a baseball cap. She wore white sneakers and wheeled her carry-on bag. She captioned the clip with “See yaaaaaaaaaa” and a peace sign emoji.
Although Kayla has not directly commented on Travis’ new relationship with Taylor, she has made several posts expressing her joy in living her best life. Following Travis and Taylor’s surprise appearances on Saturday Night Live on October 14, she shared a selfie video on Instagram, discussing how well she was doing. “I hope you guys are having a great day. I’m having a fantastic day, thank you so much for asking,” she said.
This isn’t the first time the sports journalist has mentioned therapy on social media. Shortly after Travis’ relationship with the “Blank Space” pop star was revealed, she posted a video of herself at the gym and wrote, “Back in my happy place. Another day, another therapy session.”

Travis and Kayla dated on and off from 2017 to 2022, but the Super Bowl winner confirmed his single status at the beginning of 2023. Travis and Taylor’s relationship became public knowledge in late September, and since then, she has attended many of his games to support him. Travis has discussed his feelings about the pop star on several occasions. During a recent episode of his New Heights podcast, he talked about feeling “protective” during their dates. “I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always having the sense of like, I’m a man in the situation, I’m, like, protective, yeah for sure,” he said.
