Remember that Bud Light controversy? It seems that some folks just can’t move past it.
With the Chiefs having played on Thursday night, Travis Kelce had some free time over the weekend.
Kelce attended the Philadelphia Phillies’ NLCS game last night after watching his brother Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles play in New Jersey on Sunday.

During the game, FOX cameras captured Kelce and his brother enjoying some adult refreshments, with Travis sipping on a Bud Light, which prompted some teasing from conservative sports commentator Jon Root.
Of course some Swiftys came to his defense:
Bud Light has faced criticism from many conservatives due to its association with transgender woman and TikToker Dylan Mulvaney. Kelce has been featured in the company’s ads for several months, so it’s not surprising to see him publicly enjoying the beer where TV cameras can catch it.
While there will always be individuals who disapprove of Kelce’s stance on vaccines and his partnership with Bud Light, it’s unlikely that the All-Pro tight end will let it affect him.
Kelce remains the best player in the NFL at his position, is handsomely compensated, and is in a budding relationship with Taylor Swift. All in all, he seems to be doing just fine these days.
Ultimately, what he chooses to drink pales in importance compared to who he is dating.
