Travis Kelce’s charm isn’t limited to Taylor Swift; it extends to the entire Swift family.
During his recent visit to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to attend Taylor Swift’s performance, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end had the opportunity to meet Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, for the first time. Travis shared the details of this encounter with his brother, Jason Kelce, on the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment.
During the podcast, Jason, who is a center for the Philadelphia Eagles, jokingly pointed out that Scott was sporting a Kansas City Chiefs lanyard while watching his daughter perform. Travis playfully commented, “I’ve got ’em all over here to the good side, baby,” referring to the Swift family’s previous allegiance to the Eagles.

In a lighthearted exchange, Jason questioned Scott about letting Travis’ “devilishly good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom.” Travis humorously revealed that he might have persuaded Scott during dinner the night before, adding, “Just one by one, getting all the good ones to come on over.”
The conversation shifted to Scott’s background as a football player, with Travis disclosing that Taylor’s dad played college football in Hawaii and later in Delaware as “a linebacker turned center.” The Kelce brothers, both centers in the NFL, expressed their interest in discussing football techniques with Scott, sharing a common position.
However, the podcast also highlighted a humorous moment when Travis left Scott hanging after Taylor altered the lyrics of “Karma” to give a shoutout to the Chiefs tight end. Travis apologized for missing the high-five, saying, “I never miss a high-five, too. Big high-five guy. It’s the most electric thing you can do at an event, and so — sorry Mr. Swift.”
In a playful tone, it seems Travis Kelce has already won over Scott Swift, and Jason even hinted that he’d have Scott’s blessing when the time comes for Travis to propose.
