Travis Kelce made a young fan’s day during the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp by signing a custom jersey featuring his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s name on the back.
The star tight end took a break from practice to meet fans when a young girl approached him wearing his “87” jersey, but with “Swift” stitched on the back. In a video uploaded to X on Tuesday, Kelce warmly greeted the girl and her family, asking, “How you doing?!”
The young fan moved her long blond ponytail aside as Kelce examined the jersey and signed it with a black permanent marker. The moment was a hit among fans and showcased Kelce’s charming personality.
Kelce has been actively engaging with fans and teammates since returning to Missouri to prepare for the upcoming season and defend the Chiefs’ Super Bowl title. This isn’t the first time Kelce has delighted Swifties. In July, he made headlines for tossing his glove to a young Swift fan, after a little aim correction, during training camp. The gesture won over many fans and highlighted his playful side.

Just days after that interaction, Kelce engaged with another fan and humorously acknowledged his influence by saying he has the “Taylor Swift effect” after a fan joked that his wife “almost died” upon seeing him at training camp.
As Kelce gears up with his teammates for their first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he has been balancing his professional commitments with his personal life.
After a few months off, Kelce spent quality time abroad with Swift, who is also 34, attending her various Eras Tour stops. The couple was last seen together backstage at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, on July 17, with Kelce wrapping his arms around Swift.
During his break, Kelce attended 14 of Swift’s shows and even joined her onstage in London on June 23, much to the delight of fans. Swift will continue her European tour until August 20 before taking a three-month break.
Chiefs fans might catch a glimpse of Swift at some of Kelce’s games this fall, as a source recently told People that she plans to attend “as many games as possible” this season.
The couple, who went public with their relationship last September, may be on the brink of taking their relationship to the next level. A source close to Kelce told Page Six that an “engagement is happening soon,” indicating a potential milestone in their romance.
