The connection between a quarterback and his tight end appears to be resilient.
While Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour made a return on Thursday night in Buenos Aires, Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce chose to stay in Kansas City to support his quarterback as the team enjoyed a bye week.

Reports from People indicate that Kelce attended Patrick Mahomes’ fourth annual 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Gala, hosted at The Midland Theatre. The foundation shared a video featuring Kelce at the event.
Contrary to previous speculation reported by Entertainment Tonight that Kelce might join Swift on tour during his bye week, the All-Pro clarified on his “New Height” podcast that he planned to focus on recovery during the break.
“I plan on getting this body right. I got a little bit more banged up this week than I was hoping, which keeps you around, keeps you trying to get better,” Kelce said. “I never like to plan things on the bye week, cause you just don’t know how healthy you’re going to be, you don’t know how you’re going to feel, whether you’re winning or losing.”
With the Chiefs set to return to action on Nov. 20 against the Eagles, Kelce and the team are gearing up for an anticipated rematch of last season’s Super Bowl.
Kelce, known for his unpredictable moves, seems to be enjoying the media attention surrounding his connection to Taylor Swift.
