Travis Kelce is absolutely ecstatic.
The buzz surrounding Travis Kelce’s eventful weekend in New York City with Taylor Swift took center stage during the Wednesday episode of his “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” podcast, proudly presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment.
Jason Kelce couldn’t resist poking fun at his older brother for the jam-packed weekend he had, which included a memorable appearance on Saturday Night Live and no less than three outings with Swift. Remarkably, despite his star-studded schedule, the 34-year-old Travis even found time to attend his big brother’s game when the Philadelphia Eagles squared off against the New York Jets.
During the episode, Travis shared more insights about his weekend filled with stars, especially his “amazing” appearances on SNL, which he described as a “truly spectacular” experience.
“It was electric to be back in that place. There is just something about being in that room. And being their first episode this season, I had such a freaking blast man,” he said.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end also mentioned that they attended SNL with the intention of supporting Ice Spice, emphasizing their close friendship with Taylor Swift.

Regarding his participation in one of the sketches, which humorously tackled what Jason, aged 35, referred to as “Swift mania in the NFL,” Travis confessed, “I can’t recall what I said, I completely blanked out. The moment they turned to me, the entire place erupted, and it was pretty overwhelming.”
He went on to describe how, after leaving the stage, he wasn’t entirely sure if he’d delivered his lines as intended. “Everyone was like, ‘Yeah, you nailed it.’ I even watched it later, and I’m still not entirely certain if I said what I was supposed to.”
Travis also addressed the amusing online discussions about his role as a security guard while spending time with the “Anti-Hero” singer over the weekend.
In response to his brother’s query about whether he encountered any resistance from the actual security personnel for “moving them aside,” Travis clarified the situation.
“I didn’t push him. I placed my hand on the gentleman’s back to let him know I was behind him. If I would’ve pushed him he probably would’ve turned around and tased me.”
He also made it clear that the security personnel didn’t express any concerns regarding his actions, mentioning that Swift’s team was “very accommodating.”
Travis explained to his brother that his conduct throughout the weekend, which involved assisting Swift as she got in and out of the car at their various destinations in New York City and holding her hand tightly, reflected his usual behavior on a date.
“I feel like whenever I’m on a date I’m always having the sense of like, I’m a man in the situation, I’m like protective, yeah for sure. You always kind of have that feeling — or that self-awareness, I guess.”
Swift and Travis have been grabbing the spotlight since Swift’s inaugural attendance at a Chiefs game on September 24. Following that, she has been present at two additional games, enthusiastically supporting Travis and engaging in conversations with his mother, Donna Kelce.
Travis and Taylor exhibit no indications of a deceleration in their activities, so brace yourself for a substantial amount of forthcoming content.
