Travis Kelce is dedicating a special award to his girlfriend Taylor Swift!
On Thursday, July 11, the Kelce brothers attended the American Century Championship charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. During the event, Travis, 34, took to the stage for a karaoke contest, showcasing his vocal talents once again.
After belting out Whitesnake’s 1982 hit “Here I Go Again,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was named the karaoke winner. Overjoyed, Travis made sure to give Taylor Swift, 34, a heartfelt shoutout as he accepted the honor.
When his name was announced, Travis jumped up and down with excitement. In a video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), he jokingly pretended to cry as he took the mic, saying, “Taylor, this is for you.” He then held his award high and told the audience, “I love you guys!”
In another video shared on the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast’s Instagram page, Travis could be seen fully immersing himself in his performance of the Whitesnake song. The caption read, “Nothing beats @killatrav’s stage presence,” with the text “Travis on stage in Tahoe” overlaid on the video.
This isn’t the first time Travis has entertained with his karaoke skills.
At previous charity events, he has delivered memorable performances of Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble’s “Pride and Joy” in 2022 and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” in 2019. Earlier this year, Travis grabbed the microphone during the 2024 Super Bowl victory parade in February, delighting Chiefs fans with his rendition of Garth Brooks’ 1990 hit “Friends in Low Places.”
Slurring his words slightly from the celebration, Travis encouraged the crowd, “If you know this song, sing along!” He began with, “Blame it all on my roots, I showed up in boots, and ruined the Niners affair,” before humorously reading the lyrics off his phone. He sang, “Took that glass of champagne…” and then looked at his teammate Patrick Mahomes, joking, “Pat took that glass of champagne, I promise you.” Eventually, Patrick joined in, helping Travis finish the song.
Beyond his karaoke escapades, Travis has been a supportive partner to Taylor Swift as she continues her global Eras Tour. On Saturday, July 6, the couple was spotted leaving Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff Arena hand-in-hand after Taylor performed her third show at the venue.
Taylor Swift is now heading to Milan, Italy, where she will perform two concerts at San Siro Stadium on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14. As Taylor continues to captivate audiences worldwide, Travis remains by her side, celebrating her success and adding his own flair to public events.
