Travis Kelce is thoroughly smitten!
In a recent episode of Barstool Sports’ podcast, “Bussin’ With The Boys,” released on June 25th and recorded earlier on June 19, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about his burgeoning romance with pop superstar Taylor Swift.
Kelce reminisced about the moments he realized he was beginning to fall deeply for Swift, particularly admiring her grounded nature despite her global fame.
Kelce praised Swift’s ability to navigate high-profile situations gracefully, such as his team’s victory at the 2024 Super Bowl. “She’s very self-aware,” Kelce shared. “And I think that’s why I really started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around friends and family. It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention … and she just keeps it so chill and so cool.”
He fondly recalled an instance that significantly deepened his feelings—Swift’s unassuming presence at her first public Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on September 24, 2023. “She really won me over with that one,” he commented, noting that Swift preferred minimal fanfare, choosing to walk through the front door to be close to family and friends.
Throughout the podcast, Kelce touched on the early days of their relationship, mentioning that there was little to no teasing from his teammates when he and Swift first started dating in September 2023. The couple made their relationship public in October 2023 when they were seen holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.
Kelce explained that they tried to keep their relationship as low-key as possible initially. “Nobody knew what was going on, [it was] really all over the place. I think it was… we kinda kept it between us as much as we could,” he said. “But once she came to a game, obviously it was all popping from there,” he added.
Despite a preference for privacy, especially at home, Kelce openly declared, “I’m not here to hide anything… that’s my girl, that’s my lady,” proudly affirming their relationship.

The couple was back in the spotlight over the weekend when Kelce made a surprise appearance during Swift’s Eras Tour at London’s Wembley Stadium. He stepped in for the usual dancer during Swift’s “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” segment, part of the show that follows the release of her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Dressed in a tuxedo and top hat, Kelce carried Swift onto the stage, setting her gently on a red couch before playfully touching up her makeup, drawing cheers from the crowd.
Following his stage debut, the couple celebrated at the Chiltern Firehouse in London, staying until the early hours of the morning. They both sported chic crochet outfits, further showcasing their coordinated style.
Sunday’s performance marked Swift’s final show at Wembley for the time being, with plans to return for an additional five shows beginning August 15.
