Travis Kelce shared the origin of his relationship with Taylor Swift during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Contrary to public perception, Kelce disclosed that he and the Grammy winner had known each other for close to a month before her debut at his game against the Chicago Bears on September 24, 2023.
Three days before the game, Kelce invited Swift to Arrowhead Stadium, although he already knew she was attending.

“It wasn’t just an out-of-the-blue, ‘Hey, come to the game,’” Kelce shared.
Swift has since been a frequent attendee at Kelce’s games, supporting the Kansas City Chiefs. Kelce expressed enjoyment in sharing the experience with Swift, despite the occasional dissent from NFL fans who don’t want to see the Chiefs win.
He initiated their connection in July 2023 when he planned to give Swift a friendship bracelet at her Kansas City show, expressing disappointment at the missed opportunity due to her vocal preservation routine. Swift is confirmed to attend the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11.
