It was only a matter of time before Travis Kelce responded to Aaron Rodgers’ vaccine-related jab.
This week, Aaron Rodgers playfully poked fun at Travis Kelce, referring to him as “Mr. Pfizer” due to his commercial endorsement for the company, in which he encourages people to receive both a COVID-19 shot and a flu shot simultaneously.
During an episode of the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, Rodgers remarked, “Mr. Pfizer, we kinda shut him down a little bit,” Rodgers said during Tuesday’d edition of the Pat McAfee Show. “He didn’t have his crazy impact game, obviously, he didn’t have his yards and stuff.”
When Kelce was asked for his thoughts on Rodgers’ comment, he took it in stride.
“I thought it was pretty good. With the mustache, I look like someone named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I’d get into vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man? Mr. Pfizer against the Johnson and Johnson family over there,” Kelce said.
These exchanges occurred following the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football last week.
Rodgers has been known for his candid comments on COVID-19 vaccines, and now, he’s even managed to turn Travis Kelce into a figure in vaccine-related discussions.
