Travis Kelce returned from his summer trip to Europe with Taylor Swift bearing over $130,000 worth of gifts for his Kansas City Chiefs teammates, according to reports.
Kelce enjoyed a whirlwind summer with Swift after joining her on her international Eras Tour in London, where he even made a cameo on stage at Wembley Stadium. The couple also jetted off to various European countries during the Chiefs tight end’s offseason, with Italy reportedly proving to be one of his favorite destinations.
Kelce’s love for Italy was so profound that he returned to preseason training camp with Italian-inspired gift boxes totaling more than $130,000 for his fellow Kansas City players.
According to the US Sun, Kelce fell in love with Italy after visiting the picturesque Lake Como with Taylor over the summer. He wanted to give his teammates a taste of the enchanting experience he had.

“It’s the start of the training camp and Travis is super excited and wanted to show some love and appreciation to his teammates,” a source close to Kelce said. “He always does this at the beginning of every season, but this year he wanted to do something special, and got them a little package of presents for each player and for some guys on the staff.”
Kelce arrived at training camp with 65 gift boxes for his teammates, each containing expensive fine Tuscan wines and luxury Italian accessories.
He reportedly spent a total of $19,500 on the 2021 Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia red wine, with each bottle costing $300. Additionally, he purchased bottles of the 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Piaggione by Salicutti, costing approximately $150 each, totaling $9,750.
To further spoil his colleagues, Kelce included high-end accessories from the luxury Italian designer Bottega Veneta. He spent nearly $34,000 on sleek passport holders priced at $520 each, and almost $72,000 on calfskin leather travel pouches, each costing $1,100.
Kelce’s lavish gifts came five months after their second consecutive Super Bowl triumph in Las Vegas. The Chiefs are now aiming for a historic ‘three-peat’ in the upcoming season, a feat never accomplished in the history of the NFL.
Meanwhile, Swift is currently in Poland for the latest leg of her Eras Tour.
Reports also suggest that Travis and Taylor enjoyed Italy so much that they have started house-hunting for a love nest in Lake Como. This move could signify a deepening of their relationship, as they seek to create lasting memories in one of the most romantic destinations in the world.
