Travis Kelce is feeling incredibly grateful for his current situation.
On Wednesday’s episode of his podcast “New Heights,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end candidly discussed his astonishment at winning over Taylor Swift.
Reflecting on their unlikely romance, Kelce admitted to his brother, Jason Kelce, and guest rapper Lil Dicky that Swift initially wasn’t interested in sports. He jokingly acknowledged that he intentionally mentioned her on the podcast in July 2023, knowing precisely what he was doing.
Travis said he does not “know how the f–k” he won over Taylor Swift.
“She wasn’t into sports,” he quipped.
Kelce expressed his appreciation to Lil Dicky for labeling his relationship with Swift as an “American classic,” describing it as a meeting between the most popular pop star and the most beloved athlete.

When asked about his newfound attention from Swift’s fans, affectionately known as Swifties, Kelce enthusiastically embraced it, emphasizing how much he’s enjoying life and the excitement it brings.
“It’s fun, man,” Kelce said. “I’m having a blast in life, baby. Just flying high. Enjoying it all.
“[We’re] bringing new lives to the football world and opening the football world up to new things as well,” he continued.
During the conversation, Jason brought up Lil Dicky’s previous comments on “Thursday Night Football” about hypothetically dating Travis if he were a woman. Kelce was genuinely flattered by the sentiment and jokingly expressed his gratitude.
Kelce’s jovial mood extended to some light-hearted banter, including a playful remark about autographing Lil Dicky’s appendage, referencing a previous conversation about autographing body parts after shows.
Kelce, currently in Los Angeles, has been seen spending time with Swift and his brother, including lunch outings and other social activities. Their recent Bahamas vacation, amid the NFL season break and Swift’s Eras Tour, also made headlines for their public displays of affection.
