Before the NFL regular season kicked off, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce took on a new challenge—hosting the Amazon Prime game show Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? While working on the show, Kelce had the opportunity to learn quite a few new things, including the meaning behind a term that caught him off guard: “BBL.”
On the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis admitted that he didn’t know what a BBL was before filming the show. For those unfamiliar, a BBL, or Brazilian butt lift, is a cosmetic surgery where fat is transferred from the midsection to the buttocks to create a more defined hourglass figure.
During one of the episodes of the game show, a contestant excitedly mentioned that if she won the prize money, she planned to get a BBL. This prompted Travis to ask her to explain what exactly a BBL was, as he was unfamiliar with the term. The contestant clarified, describing the procedure and the results, which left Kelce surprised and amused as he finally grasped the meaning behind the abbreviation.
“She said, ‘I’m trying to drag a wagon,'” Kelce shared with a laugh on the podcast, recalling the contestant’s playful description of her future goals.

The conversation then turned into a lighthearted debate between the Kelce brothers about BBLs. Jason, the Philadelphia Eagles’ center, made it clear that he wasn’t a fan, launching into a brief rant about why he thought BBLs often didn’t look good.
Travis, on the other hand, couldn’t stop laughing throughout Jason’s critique and seemed eager to move the conversation along, indicating that he didn’t have strong opinions on the matter either way.
While the topic of BBLs might not be what most fans expect from an NFL podcast, the Kelce brothers brought their usual blend of humor and candidness to the discussion. The exchange highlighted their ability to keep things fun and relatable, even when tackling unexpected subjects.
