Travis Kelce can’t stop thinking about Taylor Swift.
The NFL star humorously referenced his Grammy-winning girlfriend when he encountered a Swiftie during the Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
“You just took my wife’s breath away,” a man told Kelce as he approached them in a TikTok video shared Sunday. “Literally, she just almost died.”
Kelce, wearing a gray tee tucked into red shorts, smiled and joked about the “Taylor Swift effect” as he walked down the hallway.
One social media user speculated, “Is this him saying she takes his breath away?? That’s so real.”
Another wondered if Kelce is “ever in a bad mood,” while a third praised him for his positive demeanor despite looking “tired/worn out,” noting that he was still greeting fans and expressing his love for Swift.
Many fans commended the Super Bowl winner’s “perfect … green flag” response, calling it “respectful avoidance” and appreciating how he brought the conversation “right back to his love.”
The woman in the video commented, “My heart rate was in the 200s. Love you @TaylorSwift.”
Kelce and Swift have been dating since July 2023.
The power couple was last spotted together in mid-July before Kelce began preparing for his 12th season with the Chiefs amid Swift’s Eras Tour.
Kelce made headlines for acknowledging one of his partner’s young fans during practice last month.
“Travis saw my niece, wearing a Taylor @Chiefs shirt, threw his glove, missed, pointed at her, and threw again,” a social media user tweeted, noting that “it was so sweaty it soaked through [her] brother’s pocket.”
Swift frequently gives Kelce shoutouts during her performances.
Before his training began, Kelce was a regular presence at Swift’s European Eras Tour shows and even made a surprise cameo in London.
While Page Six reported Friday that the pair are getting engaged “soon,” Kelce’s rep claimed he doesn’t have concrete proposal plans in place.
