Travis Kelce is perhaps the most popular football player in the world today, and he might be making his film debut very soon.
In addition to his already scheduled television appearances—some solo and others with his brother, recently retired Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce—he recently hinted at a potential role in a sequel to a classic comedy starring Adam Sandler.

On Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce addressed a listener’s question about whether he would appear in the upcoming “Happy Gilmore 2.”
“I didn’t even know there was a job opening for Happy Gilmore 2,” Kelce said. “But if there is, I’ll be a [expletive] extra. You know, anything to just get around Happy Gilmore or [an] Adam Sandler film or set—count me in.”
While Kelce emphasized that his involvement in the film is still speculative, he offered a cryptic statement:
“Theories can come true. Theories can be true and just people don’t know about it. So, I might even be in the talking and nobody knows about it, but I also could not be in the talking.”
Recently, Kelce was spotted wearing a “Happy Gilmore” hat, adding fuel to the speculation.
Kelce is set to appear in multiple upcoming television shows, and his profile is further rising due to his ongoing relationship with Taylor Swift.
Despite these ventures, football remains his priority, as he and the Kansas City Chiefs aim to win a third consecutive Super Bowl this season, a feat that has never been accomplished before.
“Happy Gilmore 2” is set to be released on Netflix.
