Travis Kelce described his time at the 2024 Coachella Music Festival as “fun as hell” during a recent episode of his podcast “New Heights,” which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared his enthusiasm for live music and being part of the crowd at the festival in Indio, California. Among the performances he enjoyed were Bleachers, Dom Dolla, and Jungle, which he attended on Saturday.
Despite having the option to watch the shows from backstage, Travis explained to his brother why he and Taylor Swift chose to experience the event from the perspective of the fans.
“I want to see it from the front of the stage,” he said, noting that being in the pit added to the authenticity of the experience.
During the podcast, Travis also mentioned the popularity of the green “New Heights” hat worn by Swift at the festival, which quickly sold out but was later restocked. He appreciated Swift’s support of his podcast, highlighting the partnership in their personal and public lives.
Travis sported a “Happy Gilmore” hat, a white shirt, flannel, and striped jeans during the weekend. Swift opted for an all-black ensemble, including a leather jacket, Gucci sneakers, and a Halara skirt.
The couple was seen enjoying themselves in the crowd, and at one point, Swift was reportedly apologizing for being drunk, according to a lip reader. They continued their evening at the Neon Carnival afterparty, where they were seen kissing while “Vanderpump Rules” star James Kennedy DJed. Kennedy later posted about the night, claiming he “set the mood” for their moment and expressing excitement over Swift’s reaction to his remix of her song “Cruel Summer.”
This outing for the couple aligns with Swift’s previously expressed desire for a “normal” relationship, as highlighted in a resurfaced interview where she discussed not wanting to “hide” her personal life.
