Travis Kelce’s jersey sales are experiencing a remarkable surge, and he attributes this success to an unexpected source.
On a recent episode of “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce,” Jason Kelce revealed that he and his brother hold the top two spots for the best-selling jerseys in the U.K. While both brothers found this phenomenon perplexing, they jokingly credited a specific group of fans for their popularity across the pond.

Considering the astonishing sales, Jason asked, “Lotta Swifties over there in the U.K.?” Travis, the 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, humorously responded, “It’s gotta be — it’s the only reasonable solution to all this.” He playfully acknowledged that his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, likely played a role in the high jersey sales.
Jason continued the banter, suggesting that he might only be second in sales because some U.K. residents might not be football enthusiasts. He mused, “I think a lot of people in the U.K. maybe just don’t watch football, and they’re like, ‘Oh, I heard this Kelce guy dates Taylor Swift,’ and they just buy my jersey on accident.”
Travis gave a shoutout to Taylor and also credited Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, for the impressive sales. According to Travis, the U.K. fans are, in fact, supporters of Kylie.
Since Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift became public in September, there has been a significant uptick in interest surrounding his career and jersey sales. A spokesperson from Fanatics confirmed in September that Travis experienced a nearly 400% spike in jersey sales just one day after Swift, 34, attended a Chiefs game. This surge secured Travis a spot among the top-selling NFL players, according to the spokesperson.
The Taylor Swift effect is not only boosting individual player sales but also contributing to the NFL’s global recognition, as the league welcomes the newfound attention brought about by the 12-time Grammy winner’s frequent appearances at Chiefs games this season.
