Travis Kelce’s singing prowess, or lack thereof, has brought him some attention from the music world this week.
Country music icon Garth Brooks has extended a generous offer to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce after his memorable, albeit slightly inebriated, rendition of “Friends In Low Places” during the team’s Super Bowl parade.
Kelce’s spirited performance, fueled by the day’s celebrations, caught the attention of Brooks, who was thoroughly entertained by the impromptu singing session. In response, Brooks graciously invited Kelce to lead a more composed rendition of the song at the grand opening of his Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk in Nashville on March 7th.

During his live series on TalkShopLive, Brooks expressed his delight at Kelce’s rendition and offered to send a plane for him and any guests of his choosing to attend the event. He enthusiastically extended the invitation, assuring Kelce that the stage would be set for him to showcase his singing talents once more.
“Did you guys see Travis Kelce’s version of ‘Friends in Low Places?’ Did you see him sing this? I loved it, I thought it was fantastic,” Brooks said during the latest episode of his Inside Studio G, Brooks’ weekly live series on TalkShopLive.
“It blew me away because I’m sitting there watching it as it’s going down, right? I never expected that,” he added.
“Big man, I’m just telling you this. I will be at [the] grand opening if you’re there,” Brooks told Kelce.
“I’ll send a plane if you want and come and get another shot at the title. If you want to come sing that, I’ll send a plane,” he continued.
“You can come by yourself or bring your brother or your gang, whatever you want to do. The plane holds 11, just remember that. So, yes, I’ll be happy to send this invite out to you if you want to try a little ‘Friends in Low Places’ in Friends in Low Places.”
However, Kelce, currently en route to Australia for a reunion with his girlfriend Taylor Swift, had to decline the invitation. Swift, embarking on her Eras Tour Down Under, had recently performed in Melbourne, prompting Kelce to join her after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebrations.
Despite the missed opportunity, Kelce’s spirited performance at the parade captured the attention of fans and celebrities alike, leaving a lasting impression on country music legend Garth Brooks.
