Not a good look for Travis Kelce.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has recently faced backlash from fans after appearing in a Bud Light commercial.
The popular beer brand has previously faced controversy due to a failed partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, and they seem to be attempting to regain their market position by associating themselves with a successful NFL player.
The commercial, titled “Backyard Grunts With Travis Kelce,” humorously depicts the sounds people make while sitting or getting up.
Kelce doesn’t interact with or mention the beer can in the commercial, as NFL rules prohibit players from promoting alcoholic beverages. However, this was still enough to upset some fans.
I’ll deny I ever saw that…
At the least hopefully Travis made some cash…

Zero respect for anyone in that ad.

Despite Kelce’s positive reputation, it remains uncertain whether his involvement will help Bud Light regain lost consumers following the Mulvaney collaboration.
They may need additional strategies beyond signing Kelce to achieve that.
