Travis Kelce is stepping back into his football era as the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, 34, heads to training camp in Missouri following an eventful summer with pop sensation Taylor Swift, also 34.
According to the Chiefs’ official website, the open practices at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph are scheduled from Sunday, July 21, to Thursday, August 15. The team’s first preseason game is set for Saturday, August 10, against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and they will kick off their regular season on Thursday, September 5, with a game against the Baltimore Ravens.
This upcoming season is highly anticipated by Kelce and his teammates, especially after their victory in the 2024 Super Bowl, which was not only their second consecutive win but also their third Super Bowl title in five years. The Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 25-22 in a game that became the most-watched telecast in U.S. history, drawing over 123 million viewers.

Right after the Super Bowl victory, Kelce set his sights on achieving a three-peat, boldly declaring during the Vince Lombardi trophy ceremony, “The goal [has] always been to get three. Believe it, baby, we’re gonna be here next year.” He echoed this determination on his New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, in March, saying, “As 92 percenters, you know we love speaking things into existence, just manifesting life on this podcast. I’m gonna win another Super Bowl. Just some of the things we like to say around here ‘cause it’s possible.”
