If anyone knows, it’s Travis.
Travis Kelce, well-acquainted with the electric atmosphere of Wembley Stadium from his NFL days, recently found himself immersed in a whole new level of audience enthusiasm when he attended girlfriend Taylor Swift’s concert at the same venue.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared his awe-inspiring experience during the latest episode of his podcast, “New Heights,” which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.
The episode captured the brothers’ excitement following Swift’s three-night performance as part of her Eras Tour in London from June 21 to June 23.
Travis along with his brother and a group of friends and family, traveled to England to witness Swift live in action. Reflecting on the concert, Travis expressed how the atmosphere at Swift’s show surpassed even the fervor of an NFL game. “It was so cool,” he noted, comparing the fan energy to when he played at Wembley with the Chiefs in 2015 against the Detroit Lions. “Playing in front of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium? I remember 2015 playing in front of 80,000 in Wembley Stadium and then seeing Tay up there going crazy,” he said. “They get a lot louder for Taylor.”
Jason added his perspective, noting that while NFL games have fans cheering for all the players, a concert focuses the crowd’s energy on a single performer. He was particularly struck by Swift’s stamina and presence. “It was insanely impressive,” he remarked. “There’s something, like obviously, Taylor’s an amazing singer-songwriter, but then to be able to go out there and be a performer at that level for how long she was up there for, like, three and a half hours, four hours?”

Travis responded, highlighting the sheer scale of Swift’s performance: “Yeah, 45 songs, bub,” underscoring her impressive endurance and skill.
Jason humorously admitted he couldn’t imagine matching Swift’s energy, even for a single song. “Oh my gosh. Yeah, dude, if I did what she did for one song I would have to change my clothes,” he laughed.
The conversation underscored the unique demands and awe-inspiring nature of performing at such a high level. The weekend was particularly special for Travis, who made a guest appearance during Swift’s concert. On Sunday, he joined her onstage as a backup dancer during a segment of the show. This playful participation involved carrying Swift to a couch and assisting with a quick onstage outfit change, a moment that Swift later celebrated on Instagram: “I’m still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut ? Never going to forget these shows,” she wrote.
A source close to the couple told PEOPLE that the onstage moment was a highlight of the tour for Swift. “They loved being onstage together,” the source shared. “He is confident and fun, and it was one of her tour highlights.”
This experience not only showcased the couple’s strong bond but also highlighted their ability to shine together in the spotlight, creating unforgettable memories for themselves and their fans.
