It’s time for a fashion showdown between the Kelce brothers.
Travis Kelce recently appeared on “Good Morning America” to discuss life after his 2024 Super Bowl victory. In addition to opening up about his relationship with Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs star offered some humorous insights into his brother Jason Kelce’s laid-back fashion sense.
The 34-year-old NFL player described to ABC News’ Will Reeve how his style starkly contrasts with that of his brother, the retired Philadelphia Eagles lineman. He characterized Jason as “the Neanderthal who wears flip flops in winter and doesn’t really care about his appearance.”
Opting for a modestly priced $40 ASOS Design shirt for the interview, Travis expressed his own fashion philosophy: “I like to wear stylish clothes and have fun. I’m a bit more outspoken with my style.”

He reflected on their differences, saying, “If you saw us on two different teams, you wouldn’t even think we were brothers. We just happened to share the same last name.”
Jason is famously casual, often seen wearing his favorite $130 Olukai Mea Ola Sandals, jeans, tees, and sweatpants to Eagles games and other events, while Travis is known for his bold patterns and high-end designer outfits.
Even at his retirement speech, Jason opted for a tank top, later explaining on their “New Heights” podcast that wearing a suit and tie “wouldn’t feel right.”
Their fashion banter extends online too. Jason recently responded humorously on X (formerly Twitter) to a joke about Travis’ torn Heron Preston jeans. “What the f–k did Taylor’s cats do with his jeans?” a social media user quipped, prompting Jason’s amused reply, “Now that’s funny!”
Their mother, Donna Kelce, has also commented on Travis’ flair for fashion, calling him a “fashionista” who dresses “to make people laugh or to talk” during an interview with Martha Stewart earlier this year.
“And he loves being at the center of attention, which we all know,” she added.
Despite their sartorial differences, Travis emphasized on “Good Morning America” the close relationship he shares with his brother, noting that “through the podcast we’ve been able to show everybody just how close we are as brothers.”
