Tommy DeVito’s recent rise to fame took an unexpected turn when a New Jersey pizza joint, Coniglio’s Old Fashioned Pizzeria, accused his agent, Sean Stellato, of doubling the price for a scheduled two-hour appearance after the New York Giants’ victory over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Coniglio’s Old Fashioned announced the cancellation of DeVito’s autograph signing event, citing the agent’s decision to raise the fee from $10,000 to $20,000. The pizzeria, a small family-run business, expressed financial constraints at the heightened cost.

“After last week’s win, we received word from his agent that his appearance fee would be doubling (went from 10k to 20); We are a small family-run business & decided $20,000 was a bit steep for 2 hours,” explained the pizzeria in the post.
While Stellato denied any last-minute price adjustments, stating there was no formal agreement, DeVito unexpectedly appeared at the pizzeria, reportedly not charging them for an appearance fee.
Amidst the drama with Coniglio’s, DeVito faces on-field challenges, having been sacked seven times in a 24-6 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Giants now prepare to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Day.
DeVito’s gesture of not charging the pizza shop reflects goodwill, smoothing over the tensions caused by the disputed appearance fee.
