This week, the Jersey City-based 902 Brewing Co. introduced a special Italian pilsner named “Tommy Cutlets” in homage to the emerging young quarterback. An Italian pilsner is a light beer crafted using a dry hopping process, and the can succinctly describes it as “Crisp. Clean. Fuggedaboutit.”
Designed in the iconic colors of the Giants, the can features the renowned Italian hand gesture associated with Devito and states, “This one is for QB1. The Jersey guy. The underdog story.”

As a New Jersey native and undrafted free agent signed by the Giants, Devito still resides in the state with his parents. The can’s label pays tribute to his journey, emphasizing his status as a hometown hero who revitalized the season when he stepped in.
902 Brewing shared on Instagram, “This season was looking pretty grim until a Jersey guy stepped in and breathed some life into it. Celebrate our hometown hero with this local brew in the taproom or in the comfort of your own home!”
Demonstrating their support, the brewery sent six-packs of “Tommy Cutlets” to the Giants’ facility for the team to enjoy after practice on Wednesday.
Initially third on the QB depth chart, Tommy Devito seized his opportunity when both Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor faced injuries. At 25 years old, Devito has made a promising start to his NFL career, throwing for 697 yards and seven touchdowns. Moreover, he has led the 4-8 Giants to consecutive victories as they enter Week 14.
