Fresh off his appearance at a Sotheby’s sports memorabilia auction in Harlem, NFL icon Tom Brady is now partnering with the esteemed 280-year-old auction house to sell his personal collection of luxury watches. However, Brady isn’t auctioning off simple pieces; his collection features some of the most coveted timepieces in the world.
Brady’s collection, titled The GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures from Tom Brady, includes a range of high-end watches, with individual items estimated to fetch anywhere from $12,000 to a staggering $800,000. One of the standout pieces is an Audemars Piguet watch that Brady famously wore during his Comedy Central roast.
In a statement released by Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion expressed the personal significance behind these items. “I’ve been so fortunate to have such an amazing journey in my career, and these watches and collectibles really capture those unforgettable moments and all the hard work behind them. I’m excited to give fans and collectors a chance to own and cherish these special pieces from my journey just like I have,” Brady said.
While Brady appears enthusiastic about sharing his collection with fans and collectors, the estimated value of the auction has drawn attention. Experts from Forbes predict that Brady’s watch collection could bring in as much as $11 million—a figure that reflects both the exclusivity of the timepieces and Brady’s enduring popularity as a sports legend.

Brady’s ability to attract collectors is well-established. Just last week, he was a guest at Fanatics and Sotheby’s ‘Holy Grails’ auction in Harlem, where $7 million worth of sports memorabilia was sold. Among the notable buyers was New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who paid $120,000 for one of Brady’s coveted rookie cards.
In addition to the watches, Brady’s auction will feature several other pieces of significant memorabilia. One highlight is a game-worn Tampa Bay Buccaneers helmet from the 2021-22 season, valued at around $100,000.
Another is his final college game jersey from his time at the University of Michigan, with estimates ranging from $300,000 to $500,000.
Also up for auction is an especially iconic item: the play-calling wristband Brady wore during the New England Patriots’ legendary Super Bowl LI comeback, where they overcame a 28-3 deficit against the Atlanta Falcons. The wristband includes around 100 plays that Brady could have called during that historic game.
Richard Lopez, Sotheby’s senior specialist of luxury watches, underscored Brady’s deep involvement in the world of watch collecting. “Just as he mastered the language of football, he has devoted himself to understanding the intricacies of watches, curating a world-class assortment of exquisite timepieces in recent years that reflects his deep passion for collecting,” Lopez stated.
With Brady’s legacy and his finely curated collection, the auction promises to be a major event for both sports fans and luxury collectors alike.
The rare opportunity to own items tied to Brady’s storied career will undoubtedly draw significant interest and bids from around the world.
