Tom Brady business is still booming.
Even after retiring, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady continues to make headlines. A pair of his game-worn pants fetched a record-breaking $89,100 at a Grey Flannel auction, as reported by Cllct Media’s Darren Rovell.
These pants were worn during Brady’s last game, where his Tampa Bay Buccaneers were defeated by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2022 playoff Wild Card round.
While impressive, the auction price for Brady’s pants was significantly lower than his jersey from the same game, which sold for $1.39 million at a Sotheby’s auction in November.

The sale set a new record for the highest price ever paid for a pair of NFL trousers. However, this record pales in comparison to MLB legend Babe Ruth, whose 1921 game-worn pants hold the record for the highest auction price for sports trousers at $183,500.
If Brady remains retired, these pants could maintain or increase their value over the years.
