Tom Brady is set to be the center of attention, not on the football field, but under the scorching spotlight of a comedy roast.
Netflix confirmed Monday morning that the iconic former quarterback for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will endure a barrage of jokes in “Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady.” The special, initially announced in May 2022, will air live on Sunday, May 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Alongside the announcement, a 30-second trailer was released showing Brady seemingly prepared to handle the relentless humor directed at him.
The roast will feature a slew of special guests, though only three have been confirmed so far: Tom Brady himself, comedian and host Kevin Hart, and roastmaster Jeff Ross. Ross, known for his skilled roasting on Comedy Central, where he succeeded the late Greg Giraldo, has roasted a variety of public figures including Alec Baldwin, Bruce Willis, and numerous sports stars.

On May 5th, Brady will face the comedic fire. The jokes are expected to cover everything from his peculiar diet and his brief retirement to his high-profile divorce from supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
Signing up for a roast means Brady is ready to take the heat, but how will he fare by the end of the show? Will he maintain his composure, or will the relentless jokes leave him with a strained smile? The answer will unfold live on Netflix.
