Tom Brady may be retired and gearing up for his new role as a color commentator with Fox Sports, but the New England Patriots legend still has his prime passing touch.
Ahead of Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s All White 4th of July party, Brady took up his familiar quarterback position for a beach football game that included numerous celebrities.
In an Instagram video shared by rapper French Montana, Brady is seen in the pocket, scanning for an open receiver. Channeling his days of delivering precise passes to Julian Edelman or Randy Moss, Brady unleashed a perfect spiral toward an open target.
Unfortunately, the receiver overran the pass, which was meant to hit him in stride, causing the ball to drop into the sand. In a comical moment, several players put their hands on their heads in disbelief at the missed opportunity.
In another reel, Brady threw a pass that was intercepted, leading to some of the celebrities playfully blocking a smiling Brady from making a tackle.

Since his second retirement, Brady has consistently remained in the headlines, most recently with Netflix’s live roast of him. Hosted by Kevin Hart, the event generated significant buzz and even gave the quarterback Brady replaced on the Patriots, Drew Bledsoe, a notable spotlight.
Brady is arguably one of the most polarizing athletes of the 21st century, rivaled perhaps only by LeBron James. With seven Super Bowl titles to his name, Brady is on a shortlist of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
Even as he transitions to the commentary booth this fall, Patriots and Buccaneers fans can take comfort in seeing that Brady’s passing skills remain sharp as ever, just a month away from his 47th birthday.
His participation in the beach football game not only highlighted his enduring athleticism but also his continued passion for the game, ensuring his legacy remains vibrant both on and off the field.
