Tom Brady may not be on the field for Super Bowl 58, having sat out the 2023 season, but he is set to make a splash in a different way – through a Super Bowl ad for BetMGM. The retired future hall of famer will be joined by actor Vince Vaughn in what promises to be a star-studded commercial.
BetMGM unveiled a 15-second teaser video titled ‘Too Close,’ offering a sneak peek into the 30-second Super Bowl commercial. The teaser features Brady and Vaughn, with Vaughn humorously attempting to steal the spotlight from the NFL legend.
In the teaser, Brady and Vaughn stand side by side, gearing up to present the promotion for the major event. Vaughn, eager for attention, asks Brady to adjust his position slightly, prompting Brady to quip off-camera, “This feels personal.”
BetMGM, the exclusive sports betting division of MGM, aims to create a significant impact, especially considering the attention garnered by FanDuel’s ‘Gronk Kick of Destiny.’ Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion and widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time, adds substantial star power to the ad, complemented by Vaughn, the acclaimed comedy actor known for roles in “Wedding Crashers” and “Dodgeball.”
