Tom Brady is feeling taller than usual.
The former NFL quarterback, aged 46, shared a photo on Wednesday alongside the 7’4″ professional basketball player, Victor Wembanyama.
In his caption, Brady wrote, “Awesome to meet you @wemby. Incredible young man,” as he stood next to 19-year-old Wembanyama, who was dressed in Nike shorts and a hoodie.
Brady, who stands at 6’4″ and was dressed in a tan sweater and matching pants, humorously commented on his height in comparison to Wembanyama’s. “Usually I’d make some joke here about how I think I could get 10 and 10 against you, but let’s be real… you’d send my jumper into the club level ???,” he quipped as his head reached slightly above Wembanyama’s shoulders.
Brady went on to playfully poke fun at his former New England Patriots teammate, Julian Edelman, who is 5’10”. “PS: @edelman11 This is how you felt all those years???,” Brady teased, addressing Edelman, who is 37. Edelman joined in on the humor by commenting with a gif of Steve Carell saying “I’m dead inside,” in character as Michael Scott from The Office.

Brady also shared a second photo featuring entrepreneur Michael Rubin, who joined the athletes for a photo. Rubin jokingly captioned the image, “Future goat, goat, and munchkin ?,” while also thanking Wembanyama for an “incredible jersey” in his Instagram post.
Brady continued the playful banter by posting another photo in his Instagram story, showing his son John Edward standing between himself and Wembanyama. In the caption, he wrote, “3 on 3 who’s got next?!.”
Brady took the humor a step further by posting a clearly photoshopped version of the picture on the ‘Gram, making it appear as though he and Wembanyama were the same height. “Media outlets asking for permission to use this photo,” Brady wrote. “Yes, you may. Here is the file. Disregard other photoshopped images of me and Victor.”
These lighthearted posts by the father of three come after he celebrated Halloween on October 31 with his son Benjamin and daughter Vivian. He shared photos on his Instagram story, with Benjamin wearing a Deadpool mask and Vivian dressed in all-black.
Tom Brady’s sense of humor seems to have flourished since his departure from the New England Patriots franchise.
