Reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero in February detailed Brady’s steps toward becoming a minority owner of the Raiders, with adjustments made to his investment reflecting the team’s accurate valuation. This move towards ownership would, under NFL rules, preclude him from playing, as active players cannot hold team equity.
