Tom Brady was spotted getting an early start on the action at Fanatics Fest, held at New York City’s Javits Center on Thursday, even before the highly anticipated sports extravaganza officially kicked off.
The retired NFL legend was seen thoroughly enjoying himself, engaging in various sports challenges set up for the event.
Brady showcased his competitive spirit by shooting basketballs, taking aim with hockey pucks, hitting baseballs, and even testing his strength on a punching bag.
This star-studded event, organized by Fanatics and its founder Michael Rubin, is set to run from August 16-18 and is expected to draw up to 100,000 attendees.
Alongside Brady, a host of celebrities and sports icons are slated to make appearances, including Mike Tyson, Derek Jeter, Kevin Durant, Ben Stiller, and more. The weekend will be packed with activities, challenges, and opportunities for fans to interact with their favorite athletes.
Adding to the excitement, Jay-Z is set to attend the event to unveil a limited edition reboot of his iconic 40/40 Club, but only a very select group of VIPs will have access to this exclusive experience.
Michael Rubin also announced on Thursday that the best-dressed superfan at Fanatics Fest will be awarded an extraordinary prize: tickets to some of the biggest events in sports, including the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup, World Series, WrestleMania, a major UFC fight, and the MLS Championship. In addition, more fans will have the chance to win meet-and-greet opportunities with their favorite sports stars.
Fanatics Fest is also set to feature appearances from a wide array of sports and entertainment figures, including Eli and Peyton Manning, Travis Scott, Spike Lee, Jerry Rice, Kevin Garnett, Roger Goodell, Adam Silver, Reggie Jackson, Julius Erving, Jake Paul, Jalen Brunson, Anthony Edwards, Pete Alonso, Mike Richter, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Allen Iverson, and many others.
Rubin expressed his excitement about the event, stating, “There’s not another company that could pull this off because they don’t have the relationships with athletes across different businesses and leagues.”
Fanatics Fest is shaping up to be a one-of-a-kind celebration of sports, entertainment, and fandom, bringing together some of the biggest names in the industry for an unforgettable weekend.
