Tom Brady celebrated his 47th birthday in style aboard a luxurious yacht in the Mediterranean, joined by his billionaire friend, Fanatics founder Michael Rubin.
Exclusive photos obtained by Mail Sport show the seven-time Super Bowl champion enjoying the waters off the coast of Sardinia on Friday.
Brady, sporting black shorts and a matching life jacket, was seen surfing shirtless, attempting to master the waves. After a few wipeouts, he returned to the opulent yacht, now donning a white baseball cap and a gold chain around his neck.
The father-of-three was accompanied by his children: 16-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, and his kids Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, from his marriage to ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. Michael Rubin was also present with his family and several friends, all of whom were seen relaxing on the megayacht.

Following the birthday festivities, Brady traveled to nearby France, where he attended several events at the Paris Olympics. He watched Novak Djokovic’s gold medal-winning tennis match and enjoyed beach volleyball with his daughter, Vivian.
Earlier in the week, Brady paid tribute to his children while showing off his fit physique in a shirtless selfie. “The lost files from 46! What a special year with these beautiful kids, the best family and friends anyone could ask for, and all of you! Here’s to making 47 our best year yet…” Brady captioned his birthday post on Instagram. He humorously added, “Also, you get to post a selfie on your birthday, everyone chill out,” to his 14.9 million followers.
Brady seems to be thoroughly enjoying his post-retirement life. He has previously expressed regret over taking football too seriously compared to younger quarterbacks like the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, who is known for his fun-loving approach to the game.
“When I see these young players, I see like Patrick [Mahomes] out there at quarterback, running around, laughing, having fun, I’m like, ‘I used to be like that. What the hell happened?'” Brady said with a laugh on a podcast last month. “I just got too serious, but, again, I can only look back and think, ‘Okay, if I do it again, which I’ll never do it again, I would be different.’ But the reality is, you can’t.”
Although Brady has no plans to un-retire, he is applying this newfound perspective to his second career in the broadcast booth. “So you learn from it. Now, next phase of life, enjoy it a little more,” he explained.
