Tom Brady recently enjoyed an unforgettable experience at the 2024 Paris Olympics with his daughter, Vivian, creating memories that the former NFL star described as “once in a lifetime.”
The 47-year-old athlete took to Instagram on Thursday to reflect on the special trip he shared with his 11-year-old daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
In his heartfelt post, Brady expressed how the three days they spent in France exceeded all his expectations, making the trip even more meaningful because he had Vivian by his side. “This trip went above and beyond what I could ever have imagined,” Brady wrote, adding that it was “especially meaningful” to witness the historic moments of the Olympics together.

Brady and Vivian had the opportunity to watch some of the world’s most powerful athletes compete for medals, and Brady took particular pride in the fact that the 2024 Games marked the first time in Olympic history where there was an equal 50:50 split of female and male athletes. He shared how proud he was to explain this significant milestone to Vivian as they watched these incredible women compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals.
In addition to his reflections, Brady posted a collection of photos from their trip. The first snapshot featured father and daughter smiling in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower, a classic Parisian moment. Later in the carousel, Vivian was seen posing with Team USA gymnast Suni Lee, capturing her excitement at meeting one of the sport’s stars.
Brady’s post also included images from various Olympic events they attended, such as tennis matches, diving competitions, and beach volleyball games.
One particularly amusing photo showed Brady’s wide-eyed, shocked reaction to Simone Biles’ stunning gymnastics performance, highlighting just how awe-inspiring the experience was for him.
Adding to the highlights of their trip, the United States’ equestrian team shared a photo of Brady and Vivian during a “special visit” on Monday, which Brady proudly reposted to his Instagram Story, praising the “amazing” athletes. This moment was particularly special for Vivian, who is passionate about horseback riding—a sport she competes in herself. Last year, Brady made headlines for proudly filming his daughter’s equestrian jumps, showcasing his deep support for her interests.
However, Vivian’s journey in horseback riding hasn’t been without challenges.
Earlier, Bündchen revealed in an interview with People that Vivian had to take a break from the sport after a fall resulted in a broken arm. Bündchen described it as the “worst day of [her own] life,” as she tried to comfort her daughter after seeing her “arm bent.” Despite the setback, Vivian has since “overcome her fear” and gradually returned to the saddle, initially riding alongside her mom before gaining the confidence to ride alone again.
Brady and Bündchen, who welcomed Vivian in 2012, also share a 14-year-old son, Benjamin. Additionally, Brady is the father of 16-year-old Jack, whom he shares with his ex, Bridget Moynahan. Since his divorce from Bündchen in 2022, Brady has been linked romantically to several high-profile figures, including model Irina Shayk and, more recently, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl Brooks Nader.
The Paris Olympics trip was not just a father-daughter bonding experience but also a reminder of how sports can bring people together and inspire greatness. For Brady, the trip with Vivian was an opportunity to share his love of sports with his daughter, instilling in her the values of hard work, dedication, and the joy of witnessing history in the making.
As Brady concluded in his post, sports have a unique way of “bringing out the best” in people, and this experience was undoubtedly one that both he and Vivian will cherish for years to come.
