Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons clashed with a local sports radio host during training camp on Tuesday, creating quite a stir.
The incident occurred with Buck Reising, the host of “The Buck Reising Show” on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, Tennessee. Reising, who was broadcasting live from Titans training camp, found himself face-to-face with Simmons, who approached the host’s tent to exchange some heated words.
“You do a lot of talking on social media, pus-y,” Simmons was heard saying to Reising, clearly agitated. Despite the tension, Reising stood his ground and challenged Simmons to settle the dispute on air, right then and there.

The confrontation didn’t come out of nowhere. Earlier that day, Simmons had been involved in a scuffle during practice, which Reising had publicly criticized on X (formerly Twitter).
“Simmons just swung at Latham after some pushing and shoving… refs said 98 would have been tossed in a game. He’s back in for the next two and immediately starts a brawl. Sloppy. Simmons needs to lock tf in,” Reising wrote.
Simmons, a two-time Pro Bowl player, is a cornerstone of the Titans’ defense. The incident raised some eyebrows, especially with the team’s first-year head coach, Brian Callahan.
However, Callahan downplayed the significance of the altercation, expressing confidence that Simmons’ fighting spirit wouldn’t become a recurring problem.
The tension between a prominent player and a local media figure adds a layer of intrigue to the Titans’ training camp, showcasing the high emotions and pressures as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
