Tiki Barber found himself in a contentious exchange during Monday’s WFAN segment with guest Joe Benigno, eventually walking off the set amid one of Benigno’s passionate rants about the Jets.
As Barber attempted to defend Zach Wilson and Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett while they navigate the challenge of playing without Aaron Rodgers, he suggested that fans should show Wilson some love to boost his confidence. However, Benigno strongly disagreed.

“Yesterday, you were in Washington with the Commanders and Bills, were you not?” Benigno asked. “So don’t give me this nonsense how you’re analyzing Zach Wilson. I don’t want to hear it. It’s BS, Tiki. He stinks. He stinks!”
“Alright Joe, sounds good. I’m turning my mic off buddy,” Barber said, before taking his earbuds out and leaving the studio where fans could hear an audible “This is bulls–t.”
Later, Tiki returned to the set and downplayed the disagreement, framing it as friendly banter between two pals.
Benigno, realizing his intensity during the discussion, offered an apology, clarifying that he didn’t intend to direct his frustration at the former Giants star; he was merely upset about the Jets’ situation.
