After battling injuries for nearly a decade, Tiger Woods’ road to recovery took a devastating turn with a life-threatening car accident in 2021.
Considering these challenges, it’s remarkable that Woods can still walk, let alone play golf.
In 2022, Woods stunned the golfing world by making the cut at the Masters. However, he later had to withdraw from the PGA Championship at Southern Hills and missed the cut at The Open at St. Andrews in July.
Woods also did not participate in the U.S. Open at Brookline, which was won by Matthew Fitzpatrick.
Unfortunately, Woods’ fortunes didn’t improve in the 2023 season. After withdrawing from the 2023 Masters, he underwent ankle surgery in April. As a result, Woods had to sit out the remaining major championships for rehabilitation.
However, a Twitter account called @TWlegion, which closely follows Woods, reported that the 15-time major champion was seen without a walking boot at a junior golf tournament in South Florida.
?#UPDATE from my post earlier tonight – a follower reached out and said Tiger was at a Junior tourney last week at Old Palm GC in FL and was seen walking with no boot. I confirmed to check and CW played in this tourney ? pic.twitter.com/L4HuMeJrYo

At the same tournament, Woods’ son Charlie, who has been dominant in junior golf events this year, performed commendably, finishing in solo 10th place with a score of 3-over for the championship.
Fans are ecstatic about the absence of Woods’ walking boot, with some even speculating about his potential triumph at the 2024 Masters.

It remains unclear whether Woods will provide further updates on his health.
He typically keeps such information cryptic, remaining silent about his progress and whereabouts.
Nonetheless, golf enthusiasts worldwide continue to hold onto the hope that Woods will make a triumphant return, even if it’s just a momentary resurgence.
