Tiger Woods may not be in contention for the green jacket at this year’s Masters, but his Sunday at Augusta National was still one to remember.
Before teeing off, Woods was joined by his son Charlie, an up-and-coming golfer, at the driving range. In an impressive moment caught on camera, 15-year-old Charlie was seen giving his legendary father some swing tips.
It’s remarkable that Charlie not only has the skill to offer advice but that he’s doing it at such a prestigious venue. However, Saturday proved difficult for Tiger. Despite a solid start to the tournament at +1 through the first two rounds, he experienced his worst round ever at Augusta, shooting an 82, which dramatically dropped him out of contention.
On Sunday, Tiger started even, making a birdie on the second hole but then a bogey on the third. He is paired with Neal Shipley, the only amateur to make the cut this weekend, providing an unforgettable experience for the young golfer.
The final round of the 2024 Masters is available to watch on ESPN+ or Masters.com, with network coverage starting at 2 p.m. ET on CBS. Scottie Scheffler leads, aiming for his second green jacket in three years.
