Tiger Woods continues to make history at the Masters, despite aiming for the ultimate accolade.
Even after a grueling 23-hole play on Friday due to delays, Woods shot an even-par 72 in the second round, securing his participation in a record 24th consecutive Masters under challenging conditions and despite health concerns.
Post-round, when asked by SiriusXM’s Jason Sobel about his record-setting cut streak, Woods was quick to shift focus to his primary goal—winning another Masters title.
“It means I have a shot this weekend. I’m still in it, with a chance to win the tournament,” Woods remarked. “I’m only eight behind right now. I don’t think anyone is going to run away with it.”
