Golf fans were in for a surprise with the recent announcement that Tiger Woods is teaming up with Justin Timberlake to open a new sports bar.
According to the Daily Mail, Woods and Timberlake are set to create a sports bar called T-Squared Social in the historic town of St. Andrews, near the famed Old Course.
The duo, who already operate a bar in New York, are now bringing their venture to Scotland, hoping to replicate their success in the heart of golf’s birthplace.
From the Daily Mail: “The pair believe the development will have ‘significant reach and interest’ from locals, students, and visitors in St. Andrews. Plans submitted to the council, which were backed by the owner of the cinema, said T-Squared Social would bring a ‘fun, family-friendly’ destination to the area under one roof.”

The timing of this news is intriguing, coming just two weeks after Timberlake was arrested in New York on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Timberlake claimed he had only one drink before getting behind the wheel.
He was released about nine hours after his arrest and is expected to appear in court on July 26.
His attorney, Edward Burke Jr., issued a strong statement regarding the incident: “I look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake on these allegations. I will have a lot to say at the appropriate time but am currently awaiting full discovery from the District Attorney’s office.”
Despite the legal troubles, Timberlake seems undeterred in expanding his brand. The new venture with Woods at St. Andrews promises to be a significant addition to the town, blending sports, entertainment, and hospitality in a family-friendly environment.
As the opening of T-Squared Social approaches, anticipation builds among locals and visitors alike, eager to see how the partnership between a golf legend and a pop superstar will shape this new landmark in St. Andrews.
