Bad news out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Three members of the North Carolina Tar Heels football program have been charged in a car crash that killed a student in Chapel Hill.

Per ABC 11’s Josh Chapin, charges were filed by prosecutors following the death of Molly Rotunda on January 29. Rotunda, 20, was in a vehicle traveling 124 MPH when it crashed.
Travis Shaw, Zachary Rice, and Malaki Hamrick were all charged.
Shaw, a junior defensive lineman, allegedly bought three bottles of tequila prior to the crash and was charged with serving alcohol to people under the legal drinking age.
Rice, 20 was charged with consuming alcohol underage while driving. Rice was allegedly speeding behind the car that Rotunda was in as a passenger.
Hamrick was also charged with consuming and possessing alcohol underage.
There has not been a comment regarding any of the charges as of Wednesday evening from the North Carolina football program.
Rice, an offensive lineman, was redshirted his freshman season and had not appeared in a game for the Tar Heels.
Hamrick, a sophomore linebacker, had played in 12 games in his Tar Heels career recording 10 tackles while Shaw had the most experience among the three charged with 24 games played and 29 tackles in his Tar Heels career.
