Hollywood Rock has made his official return.
Over the past month, The Rock has been gradually embracing his heel persona while hyping up his tag team match at WrestleMania 40, where he and Roman Reigns will face off against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
Ahead of WWE SmackDown on Friday, The Rock unleashed a scathing promo on social media, targeting Rhodes and his family.
“Here’s a message from the hottest heel in pro wrestling since the ’80s. Mama Rhodes, you’re now in The Rock’s crosshairs. Your son’s blood will stain The Rock’s belt, which I’ll personally hand over to you at WrestleMania. I’m going to teach that boy a lesson, right in front of…”

During SmackDown, The Rock took to the ring to deliver a song aimed at ridiculing Rhodes’ tag team partner, Seth Rollins, and even took a jab at Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant in front of the hometown crowd.
“Cacklin’ and dancin’ is all you do, no wonder your wife’s more popular than you. You’re so desperate for cheers, but The Rock’s gonna make your title disappear. You’re just an embarrassment, son, like Ja Morant when he’s waving a gun.”
The Rock’s mention of Morant drew immediate boos from the Memphis audience.
Good to see The Rock staying in his lane that brought him all his fame.
