For Colin Kaepernick, the moment of action or silence has arrived.
It seems increasingly unlikely that Colin Kaepernick will make a comeback in the NFL in the near future. Moreover, fans who held hopes of witnessing him in action in the XFL may find themselves disappointed, as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has expressed skepticism about the possibility.
The Rock recently disclosed that he had a meeting with the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback and extended an invitation to play in the XFL. However, he doesn’t believe that Kaepernick will accept his offer.
“Good meeting, looked to create opportunity for him but I don’t think it’ll happen,” the actor wrote on Instagram. “We’ll see.”
Since 2017, Colin Kaepernick has been absent from the NFL due to his protest against police brutality and racism, symbolized by his kneeling during the national anthem. Since that time, he has been diligently working to make a comeback, albeit without much success, despite coming close on a few occasions.

In a recent attempt, his agent reached out to the New York Jets via a letter, hoping to secure a spot on the team after Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury. Unfortunately, this effort also faced a dead end.
Kaepernick has maintained his readiness by training nearly every day, ever-hopeful that an opportunity will eventually present itself.
